So much of what I have seen make having a family tree seem complicated, what is a simple way to start my family tree?

Start with what you know. Print out the chart located in the document section of this website and fill in what you know. (in pencil) Remember that everything needs to be verified. Second, talk to your family. If you are lucky enough to have parents and grandparents talk with them and get their stories. Join a local genealogy group. They are experts in your area and just in the ways of genealogy. Have fun....this is a never ending puzzle. Marked as spam
