What are we doing to engage clubs with genealogy?

Genealogy – and joining this group – is an excellent topic for virtual presentation. Have we created any presentations for clubs to use? Is it possible to get an ancestry.com discount for those that want to get started with a DNA kist – usually these companies discount for non-profits? Anything? I’m willing to jump in but don’t want to re-invent.

A very good question and I will set the Board to this. I agree this would be good for members to take to their clubs.
I did do a presentation to y own club a while ago and with a little tweaking, completion of speakers notes it could be used by others. I could the turn it into a video tutorial on YouTube!
Actually I gave the same presentation to the local branch of the Hampshire Genealogical Society.
It is very much a basic introduction but the Alton HGS members, as well as my club, seemed to like it and they had some interesting questions.
Thanks for reminding me.
